Math: We will be learning about place value and greater than, less than. Students will be able to understand where to place tens and ones correctly and write a number that is represented in base ten blocks. Students will be able to apply <, >, = to 2 given numbers.
Reading: This week we will read A Turkey for Thanksgiving. Students will learn to draw conclusions as they read and discuss.
Spelling: Our spelling words have the long a sound spelled - a, ai, ay.
Grammar: We will learn about possessive nouns. To show that a noun owns something, we add 's. For plural nouns that end in -s, we just add '.
S.Science: We will be discussing celebrations and holidays that we celebrate in the United States.
